Boston Diary 09 | What I've Been Eating in Boston Lately! π½οΈ
This post is a pure, green (no-ads) restaurant sharing post! π The per-person cost refers to the expense after tax and tip. π Kyuramen - Brookline π1008 Beacon St Unit F, Brookline, MA 02446 Per Person: $25+ A Japanese ramen shop offering ramen, curry rice, and simple snacks. The ramen flavors are above average π, and the takoyaki and yakitori from the snack menu are quite tasty π. You can try the "Yin-Yang Ramen" to taste two different broths in one bowl! πβ¨ π₯ Jahunger Cambridge π272 Brookline St, Cambridge, MA 02139 Per Person: $30+ Personally, I found it just okay π€. After being seated and ordering, it took about 20-30 minutes for the food to arrive, which felt quite long β³. The green beans and Spicy Sichuan Chicken were a bit too salty, while the Big Plate Chicken was somewhat bland π₯². Recommended Dishes: Hand-Grabbed Rice, Spicy Sichuan Chicken. π² Happy Lamb Per Person: Around $30 With multiple locations in Boston, all offering Happy Hour deals π, itβs a great spot for a hearty hot pot meal on a chilly day when youβre not sure what to eat βοΈπ₯. π₯ Spring Ji Dumpling π90 Peterborough St, Boston, MA 02215 Per Person: $15-20 Ordering pickup via delivery apps seems more cost-effective π° (since you can skip the tip). Eating freshly steamed soup dumplings right when theyβre served is an absolute delight! π€€π π Stubborn One Iron π318 Harvard St #3, Brookline, MA 02446 Per Person: Around $20 A small shop inside an indoor market πͺ. Highly recommend their fried chickenβa must-try! ππ₯ (Extra crispy is the way to go!!! π₯) π Saigon Fusion π201 Massachusetts Ave, Boston, MA 02115 Per Person: $25 Rumored to have the best pho in the U.S. (?) π. The shop only serves one type of pho, available in two sizes. The broth is fresh and slightly sweet π², and you can add extra meat. The banh mi and spring rolls are also excellent π―. Definitely worth recommending! π π₯ Da Long Yi Hotpot π137 Brighton Ave, Allston, MA 02134 Per Person: $45+ As an all-you-can-eat hot pot, the price is a bit high πΈ, but if you think of it as Γ la carte, itβs quite reasonable. Drinks are ordered separately, but the inclusion of brown sugar glutinous rice cakes and brown sugar ice jelly is a big plus! π‘π§ A whole monthβs worth of restaurant explorations ποΈβhope this gives you some good references! π€ #Food #MyStudyAbroadStory #BostonStudyAbroad #StudyAbroadLife #StudyAbroadPlog #DailyLifeOfAStudent #Plog #StudentFoodExploration #BostonFoodDiscovery
