How have I not tried this place sooner?? I’d give it a solid 8/10 — delicious, generous portions, clean environment, great service, and even the bathroom was impressively tidy 🧼 Pricing is a bit quirky here and there, but overall great value for money. 🥢 Big Mix Vegetable Salad - $7.80 Sweet, sour, and a little spicy — leaning sweet. Would be perfect if it were more tangy and less sweet. Cilantro and garlic stand out nicely 👌 Loaded with ingredients: vermicelli, tofu strips, cucumber, carrot, cabbage. Big plus: served super chilled ❄️ Refreshing but not like it’s been sitting in the fridge forever. Even on a 1°C day, one bite took me right to summer! ☀️ 🥢 Sichuan Chicken & Intestine Pot - $26.50 Took a while to arrive, but totally worth it — tastes just like ji gong bao! Rich soy flavor with celery and spice. They use only mid-joints and drumettes 🍗 so tender~ The intestine is cleaned thoroughly — no weird smell, just umami. A bit salty, but it made me want extra rice! 🍚 🥢 Stir-Fried Deer Antler Mushrooms - $19.50 So. Good. Seriously — halfway through, I opened Taobao and added these mushrooms to my cart 🛒 The mushrooms are wonderfully crispy, and the dish came out sizzling 🫕 Seasoned with a salty, black-pepper-like sauce. Highly recommend! 🍚 Rice - $2 Their rice is mixed with corn grits — nice touch 🌽 Overall very satisfied! Service was a tad slow, but every dish was flavorful and well-made. You can order based purely on what you crave — no need to “play it safe” here (unlike some other spots… you know the ones 😅) The menu is an interesting mix of Shandong, Northeastern, and Sichuan dishes — feels like homestyle cooking with personality. 🤔 Curious about these—anyone tried?
