🍜 Boston Food|Local Favorites Collection 🥄⋆⁺₊
On a ski trip, we stopped in Boston for one night and were completely spoiled by local friends! These are all their tried-and-true picks from years of eating. 🤎 Ogawa Coffee A coffee shop from Kyoto—I rushed there as soon as I arrived in Boston! The rich hojicha latte is incredibly delicious, warming and fragrant to the soul~ 🌶️ Happy Xiang Ju One bite and you’re instantly transported back to Changsha—outshines any Hunan restaurant in New York, with not a single disappointing dish! Our favorite was the Huasao Clay Pot Rice with Meat Soup; six of us polished off two huge pots 🍚 🍲 Ding Chu A Cantonese restaurant in Newton. Their signature is coconut chicken, but I found it just okay. I’d recommend their clay pot dishes instead—the Garlic Frog Clay Pot and Clay Pot Rice are both fantastic! 🥢 Ju Xi Dim sum that’s even better than New York’s, with all dumplings made fresh in-house. Beyond the classics, try the Deep-Fried Salt & Pepper Smelt—crispy and delicious~ 🍺 Trillium A craft brewery in Downtown, perfect for catching up with friends over drinks. Trillium elevates the edgy American craft beer scene with the elegance of a cocktail bar—minimalist aesthetic, balanced flavors. Highly recommend their juicy, fruit-forward options—bursting with fruity notes! 🥛 Kiso Yogurt Didn’t have high expectations at first, but the fruit flavors blend so well with the yogurt—refreshing and not too rich, hardly feels like you’re eating yogurt at all. Perfect for a post-meal treat. Go for the green grape flavor! #Boston #BostonFood #BostonLife #BostonDimSum #BostonChineseFood #BostonCoffee #FoodDiary #GlobalFoodiesSquad
