Boston is perfect for citywalk π¦ β eat and explore, food everywhere!
I chose Boston for my first solo trip ππ»ββοΈββ‘οΈ, so the foods Iβm recommending are also solo-diner friendly ππ»ββοΈ. Before coming, my Boston-native friends said I must try Thai food. Since I was going to Revere Beach, I picked Crying Thaiger nearby π―. Oh my β their khao pad kra pao (holy basil stir-fry rice) was mind-blowing π! The flavor was super authentic, heavy-taste lovers canβt miss it. Mango sticky rice π₯ and Thai tea were also effortless wins~ Most importantly, it was so cheap β all that plus tip was only around $40... The next day, I did a campus tour. First stop: Berryline for a yogurt fanatic πΆ. They have handmade mochi, but I feel like the fruit combos pair better with yogurt π«π. Having a bowl as an afternoon snack in the summer is amazing π. Then I went to the much-praised Yume Ga Arukara near Harvard π. I chose the widely recommended Spicy Cold Niku Udon with a soft-boiled egg π³. A bowl of icy spicy udon really hits the spot in summer, but the flavor wasnβt that jaw-dropping to me π . On the third day, I finally visited The Daily Catch π¦. I went to the Waterfront location because they accept Apple Pay. This was the only major letdown of the trip β so disappointing π«π₯Ή. But because it was expensive, I stubbornly kept my fork going π΄ and even packed leftoversβ¦ whoever eats this is a big silly π. Finally, Freedom Trail citywalk . My hotel was on super-walkable Newbury Street. Super Emoji truly lived up to its name π β very fresh and refreshing~ Amorino petal gelato π¦ not recommended though, flavors were too mild and not cheap β poor value. Wandering into Chinatown for a bowl of pho brought me back to life πβ¨. #USA #Travel #StudyAbroad #BostonLife #HarvardUniversity #Food #IceCream #BubbleTea #Coffee #Yogurt
