Boston Michelin-Recommended Pammy's Mini Review

I'd always heard about Pammy's great vibe and finally visited for our anniversary! Recently noticed it made the Michelin Recommended list, so I'm jumping on the bandwagon.. šŸ· Fixed Menu $88 per person - choose any three courses from the menu, including appetizers and main dishes. Between two people, we shared six dishes: beef tongue, oysters, foie gras, pasta, fish, and Peking duck šŸ· Overall Impression To be honest, all dishes were rather ordinary, portions were relatively small, and I found it slightly expensive for the price Detailed Review: 🐮 Beef Tongue Quite cold, barely any discernible flavor. Combined with avocado, overall a rather tasteless dish.. 🦪 Oysters Average flavor. The side garnish (fried mushrooms?) was larger than the oysters themselves. Could hardly tell I was eating oysters!! 🦢 Foie Gras (forgot to photograph) Unsure if it was a quality issue or preparation method, but lacked that caramelized sweetness and aroma of properly seared foie gras. Could only identify it as foie gras by texture, but not fragrant šŸ Pasta Cooked quite al dente (I personally prefer very soft noodles so won't judge). But the sauce was quite good - tangy tomato flavor with fish roe adding saltiness, creating nice textural variety šŸ¦† Peking Duck On the sweeter side (I'm not particularly fond of sweet flavors so won't comment much). The duck skin was crispy, meat was tender - texture was good 🐟 Fish Recommended by our server. Personally my favorite of the entire meal. Not entirely sure what fish it was (probably mackerel) but the fish was very tender and juicy. Salty flavor paired well with the flower-like vegetables, suited my taste perfectly šŸ˜‹ šŸ· Wines Both recommended by our server. Later, because of our anniversary, they gave us each a complimentary glass - especially sweet and delicious, absolutely my favorite (will update when I find the name) Conclusion: The food feels slightly overpriced for the quality ~ but the atmosphere is undeniably excellent. A particularly lovely little restaurant, suitable for occasional chats with drinks and small dishes. For similar options, I think Dear Annie suits me better than this place - will publish a detailed review later ~ #StudentEats #FoodExploration #RestaurantRecommendations
