Boston morning tea | Juxi is also very delicious!!

🥟 Sun Kong (Malden): Boston’s Solid Cantonese Dim Sum—Affordable and Satisfying If you’re craving dim sum near Boston, Sun Kong in Malden delivers. With standout dishes and a budget-friendly price tag, it’s a reliable spot for a casual brunch. ✨ Must-Order Dishes Bamboo Shoots & Shrimp Dumplings: 🦐 Plump, juicy, and packed with fresh shrimp—plus crisp bamboo shoots for texture. Generous portions make these a highlight. Chicken Feet: 🍗 Everything you want in good chicken feet: tender, fall-off-the-bone, and soaked in a savory, slightly sweet sauce. Meat is thick and satisfying. Beef Tripe: 🥩 A pleasant surprise! Fresh, tender, and full of umami—served in a flavorful broth. Portions are generous, too. Celery, Shrimp & Tofu Skin Rolls: 🌱 My personal favorite. Crispy fried tofu skin wrapped around bouncy shrimp and crunchy celery. Texturally diverse and addictive. Steamed Spareribs with Black Bean Sauce: 🐷 The ribs are decent (similar to homemade), but the taro at the bottom? A game-changer. Soft, starchy, and soaked in the savory sauce—worth ordering for the taro alone. 😐 The “Meh” Cilantro Beef Balls: 🥢 Usually a go-to, but these are just okay. Chewy texture, but taste like they’re mixed with too much starch—beef flavor and cilantro notes are weak. 💸 Value & Vibe Price: ~$18 per person (we ordered 6 large dishes + blanched broccoli)—unbeatable for the quantity. Location: In Malden, a short drive from Boston. Casual, no-fuss atmosphere—perfect for a laid-back dim sum run. Sun Kong won’t blow your mind, but it’s consistent, affordable, and hits all the dim sum classics. Great for a weekend brunch with friends or family. 📍 Sun Kong 275 Eastern Ave, Malden, MA 02148 #BostonDimSum #CantoneseFood #AffordableEats
