Boston Museums & Free Tour of USS Constitution ๐ณ๏ธ๐
During previous road trips, I've visited the mighty USS Wisconsin in Norfolk, VA, and the aircraft carrier USS Yorktown and destroyer USS Laffey in Charleston, SC. All were impressive and eye-opening experiences! ๐๐ฎ Boston's USS Constitution, though perhaps not as grand in scale due to its older vintage, still holds its charmโespecially since it's free to visit! ๐๐ฐ Like other warships, what sticks out most are the harsh living conditions. Soldiers took turns sleeping on narrow bunk beds, while the captain had a separate, slightly more comfortable cabin. ๐๐ค There's also a museum on-site, which is free to enter (though a donation of $10-15 is suggested). We had a museum pass from our library card, but the staff didn't even bother to check it! ๐ ๐ Street parking is available within a 10-minute walk, and it's a better deal than the closer parking lots. Oh, and if you're in the mood for Italian food, Prima nearby is quite delicious! ๐๐ #BostonEatsAndPlays #BostonMuseums #BostonLife ๐๏ธ๐
