Boston Museums & Free Tour of USS Constitution ๐Ÿ›ณ๏ธ๐Ÿ†“

During previous road trips, I've visited the mighty USS Wisconsin in Norfolk, VA, and the aircraft carrier USS Yorktown and destroyer USS Laffey in Charleston, SC. All were impressive and eye-opening experiences! ๐Ÿ‘€๐Ÿ˜ฎ Boston's USS Constitution, though perhaps not as grand in scale due to its older vintage, still holds its charmโ€”especially since it's free to visit! ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ’ฐ Like other warships, what sticks out most are the harsh living conditions. Soldiers took turns sleeping on narrow bunk beds, while the captain had a separate, slightly more comfortable cabin. ๐Ÿ›Œ๐Ÿ’ค There's also a museum on-site, which is free to enter (though a donation of $10-15 is suggested). We had a museum pass from our library card, but the staff didn't even bother to check it! ๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ“š Street parking is available within a 10-minute walk, and it's a better deal than the closer parking lots. Oh, and if you're in the mood for Italian food, Prima nearby is quite delicious! ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ‘Œ #BostonEatsAndPlays #BostonMuseums #BostonLife ๐Ÿ™๏ธ๐ŸŽ‰
