📍 SiChuan Taste ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My second visit here—the boiled beef with chili oil and minced pork tofu are delicious! Consistent quality. 📍 Bab Al-Yemen Boston ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A cozy little spot with great atmosphere. Choose between regular tables or traditional floor seating where everyone eats together. Tried the lamb haneeth—it’s on the drier side with little sauce, but the meat is tender and well-seasoned. 📍 Boston Soup Dumplings ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Recommended: Chongqing-style spicy noodles—you can ask for extra spice and numbing pepper, super satisfying and flavorful. 📍 Alma Gaucha ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Brazilian barbecue done right! Great seasoning, a variety of meats, and a salad/cheese bar with plenty of options. Service is warm and attentive. Tried it during Restaurant Week—definitely going back. 📍 La Neta ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A small Mexican spot on Newbury Street. Recommend the plates which come with rice, refried beans, guacamole, and your choice of protein. The barbacoa (sliced beef) is especially tasty. 📍 Kaojiu Restaurant ⭐️⭐️⭐️🌗 Decent overall, though a bit pricey. Lamb spine hotpot is flavorful and you can add extra ingredients. Cold skin noodles are a highlight, and the lamb skewers are meaty but could use more seasoning—extra cumin would be perfect. The sweet milk tea is good. 📍 California Pizza Kitchen ⭐️⭐️⭐️🌗 The new braised short rib ragu is delicious—tender and rich in flavor. The “The Works” pizza is also solid with generous toppings. 📍 KongDog Korean Restaurant ⭐️⭐️⭐️🌗 Army stew tastes good but the portion is small for the price. The fried chicken is excellent—crispy coating just right. Pro tip: ask for the sauce on the side to keep the chicken crispy. #BostonLife #BostonFood #BostonExploration #BostonTravel
