Boston Suburb PYO Fruit Farm and French Brunch
📍Tougas Family Farm Just a 45-minute drive from Boston. Famous for its Pick Your Own (PYO) farm! The highlight is the hayride to the orchard. Starting from May to June, you can pick strawberries, cherries 🍒, peaches 🍑, blueberries 🫐, blackberries, apples 🍎, pumpkins, and more. It was too cold in February this year, so no peaches or cherries to pick. We love going to pick strawberries the most. The PYO prices are higher than the supermarket, but the taste is really fresh and delicious! Even if you don’t pick fruit, there’s a petting zoo and playground outside! The Farm Store also sells ice cream and doughnuts, and before you know it, half a day has passed. There are often activities on weekends, making it very lively! Out of all the fruit farms we’ve been to, this one remains our favorite. It’s recommended to go in the morning to pick fruit, and then have lunch right after. For dining, the nearby French brunch place is a must-try, less than a 10-minute drive away. Google rating is 4.7 stars 🌟 Open from Wednesday to Sunday, 8:00 am to 3:00 pm. A well-known French brunch in the area, even the French love it. The Crème brûlée French toast is a special recommendation, a dish you won’t find in other brunch places. The caramel on top is crispy and delicious! However, it’s quite sweet, so it’s good to share 🍽️! The Benedict and omelette are both up to standard, and the house potatoes are tasty. It’s busy, so sometimes there’s a wait. Located in an old house, the entrance can be a bit hard to find for first-timers. #BostonLife #BostonFood #BostonExploration #BostonSurroundings #BostonEatsAndFun #WhatToEatInBoston #WeekendWithKids #DailyKidFun #TreasureFarm #Fruit #FruitPicking #PettingZoo #French #FrenchBreakfast #FrenchBrunch #FrenchToast #Brunch #BostonTravel #BostonTourism
