📍 Jackson Gore Inn at Okemo Mountain Resort At the Okemo Mountain Resort in Vermont, there’s a mountain coaster that you can enjoy without having to stay at the resort. Besides the mountain coaster, there are various summer activities available - mountain biking, hiking with chairlift access, disc golf, mini-golf, and facilities for children. It’s a bit pricey, with a package of three rides on the mountain coaster costing $60. I recommend coming back when the fall foliage is in full swing! 🎢The mountain coaster experience is fantastic! The speed is entirely under your control, whether you want to go fast or slow. It takes a bit of courage to plunge down at full speed. The scenery in the mountains is breathtaking. Just sitting and enjoying food from a food truck feels incredibly relaxing. The Mexican food truck next to the mountain coaster is pretty good! Visiting Vermont for the first time in the summer, I can’t help but marvel at how green the trees and mountains are. On the way back, I even caught a “multicolored auspicious cloud” 🌈.
