Boston Surroundings | Old Manβs Japanese Eatery
No ramen, no udon, no grilled skewersβjust sushi and sashimi at this Japanese restaurant. π£π₯’ Salmon Ochazuke πππ I canβt remember the name on the menuβ¦ but itβs definitely a delicious soup-soaked rice dish (this was my first time trying ochazuke! Seasoned Octopus ππππ It has a bouncy, QQ texture thatβs so fun to eat. Worcester Roll ππππ First time trying a sushi roll with green bell pepper rings, but wow! Surprisingly delicious! The bell pepper isnβt too strong or spicy, and it adds a nice crunch and sweetness to the sushi. Sashimi ππππ Thick cuts, very satisfying, and fresh. Tartare Roll πππ The bottom layer is a sushi roll, topped with a layer of vegetable shreds, and capped with three types of fish sashimi. Quite a unique presentation. The sauce on the plate seems like chili sauce (I find this roll a bit too Americanized, but myιε thinks itβs not bad. Red Bean Ice Cream πππππ A large bowl for $4, you can really taste the red beans. The ice cream isnβt too rich or sweet. #BostonLife #Boston #BostonJapaneseFood #BostonSurroundings #Worcester #WorcesterFood
