Nicollet β The signage and wayfinding system for Nicollet Avenue and Nicollet Mall in downtown Minneapolis. π¨π The logo centers around the letter βN,β composed of directional arrows pointing up and down on either side, conveying movement and Nicollet's role as a main thoroughfare. The arrow shapes can also be used to construct the letter βM,β representing the state abbreviation βMNβ for Minnesota, or βNMβ for Nicollet Mall. The typography employs the highly legible sans - serif Fakt font, and the traffic - oriented color palette features bright, eye - catching yellow, along with black and white. π¨π The directional elements of the Nicollet brand extend to a comprehensive scheme of street signage and environmental graphics, including kiosks, banners, and street signs. The logo's fold - over design provides the form for three - dimensional signs mounted on utility poles and streetlights.
