Brazil | Vitória has more than just secrets, it has paradise too
📷 Must-visit spots series: Convento da Penha (Penha Convent) – A mountaintop monastery ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly recommended! Offers a panoramic ocean view of Vitória. You can take a round-trip shuttle for 25 BRL per person, but I chose to hike up and down, which took about 40 minutes total and wasn’t too tiring. As shown in Figure 2, you can enjoy the scenery at the first platform before heading to the highest point of the monastery for the best view. ⚠️ Tip: Visit on a sunny day for the best experience. 🩷Praia de Camburi – A peaceful urban beach Located closest to the airport, this semi-circular beach in the northern part of the city is bustling with joggers in the morning and evening. Great for a relaxing stroll, and you can buy fresh coconut water—three coconuts make 1 liter for 16 BRL . 🩷Estátua do Grande Buda de Ibiraçu (Great Buddha Statue of Ibiraçu) A stunning giant Buddha statue that attracts many locals who drive here just to see it. 🩷Pier de Iemanjá (Iemanjá Pier) – Fisherman’s Wharf Perfect for an evening walk by the sea after dinner, with a refreshing ocean breeze. 🍽️ Food series: ✨Ilha do Caranguejo A lively local restaurant, a must-visit for tourists, featuring live music and dance performances after 8:20 PM. Recommended dishes: Siri (crab) and Moqueca (Brazilian fish stew). Average cost: 150-200 BRL per person. ✨Restaurante Caranguejo do Assis The local spot for crab dishes. I ordered the Peroá especial—a fried fish and shrimp platter—best enjoyed with two or more people. ✨Triângulo das Bermudas A great choice for dinner, with a vibrant atmosphere. The area has many excellent restaurants, and this one stood out—I tried the Moqueca and beef, both delicious. #Restaurante Caranguejo do Assis#Ilha do Caranguejo#Convento de Penha#Praia da Sereia#Vitória#Brazil#travel guide#food
