Bread, Espresso & — A Seaside Japanese Bakery in Redondo Beach 🍞

Visiting Bread, Espresso & in Redondo Beach filled my heart with joy ❤️ I headed there on the weekend for their brunch menu, but thanks to my slow morning, I arrived around 2:30 PM—just missing the brunch cutoff (7:30 AM–2:00 PM) 🕑😅 So, a friendly reminder: if you’re craving their toast platter, make sure to come on time! This popular bakery originally hails from Japan, and we all know the Japanese truly master the art of bread-making 🥐🇯🇵 Their signature Mou toast—a soft, square loaf—was simply beyond words. The edamame & bacon flavor was uniquely savory, with a super fluffy, milky-rich texture. No butter or jam needed—it’s already perfection on its own ✨ The egg toast was also outstanding, though the earl grey pineapple bun felt a bit plain. Overall, I’d say their savory breads shine brighter than the sweet ones! And let’s talk about the tiramisu latte—so incredibly delicious! Rich tiramisu flavor infused into a creamy latte… pure bliss in a cup ☕💖 Weekends are meant to be spent in cozy spots like this: enjoying delicious bread and coffee by the sea, then taking a leisurely stroll along the coast 🚶‍♀️🌤️ It’s also close to Torrance, where you can explore more lovely Japanese shops and cafes. I need endless weekends just like this one!
