Breathtaking Architecture & A Fantastic Tour! ποΈ
Having visited London many times over the years, I finally made time to see the INSIDE of the Houses of Parliament β and I'm so incredibly glad I did! π Booking the guided tour online was super easy, with all instructions on where to enter, security procedures, etc., being very clear. π«β Every staff member we encountered was incredibly friendly, and the process of meeting our guide in Westminster Hall was seamless and well-organized. Our group had about 20 people, and our fantastic guide, Fiona, led us through all the main areas of the Palace. She delivered a wealth of history in a clear, engaging, and often humorous way β she was absolutely brilliant! π We were given microphones and headphones, which ensured we didn't miss a single word Fiona said, even while moving between rooms. π§ The interior of the Palace is absolutely stunning and breathtaking! π Walking into and through the House of Lords and the House of Commons felt completely surreal β a true pinch-me moment for any history or politics enthusiast! I felt the tour lasted about an hour and fifteen minutes β and many of us wished it could have been longer! β but the pacing felt just right, neither too rushed nor too slow. Both my mom and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Afterwards, we enjoyed some lovely refreshments at the convenient on-site cafΓ©. βπ° I highly, highly recommend this tour to anyone with a love for British history, politics, or magnificent architecture!
