Brisbane Surroundings Trip 丨 Hopping Between Two States Repeatedly

📍Address: Point Danger Tweed Terrace, Coolangatta QLD 4225 📍Main Attractions: 1⃣️Captain Cook Memorial and Lighthouse Address: Tweed Heads NSW 2485 2⃣️Memorial Clock Address: Coolangatta QLD 4225 📍Transportation: 1⃣️Train + Bus 🚆: Departing from Brisbane city, it takes about 2 hours and 30 minutes (referenced from Google Maps) 2⃣️Driving 🚗: This time, departing from Sunnybank, it takes 1 hour and 20 minutes. ・ Many attractions in Australia are really unfriendly to those without a car 😮‍💨. Although public transportation can reach most places, it's time-consuming and tiring. I'm super grateful to my friend who has a car for taking me to play 🥰. This trip around Brisbane is to Point Danger. In addition to the beautiful coastline, the most attractive thing is that there is a memorial tower at the junction of Queensland and New South Wales, with a very special triangular shape 🔺. ・ After driving into the scenic area, the first thing we saw was this boundary marker. To be honest, it's not as tall as I imagined. But we still stopped and took a look around it 👀. When visiting this boundary marker, you can get inside the triangular structure. There are some text and picture explanations inside, introducing the origin and historical stories of this boundary marker 📜. Crossing this boundary marker and driving up to the (mountain top) parking lot, next to the parking lot is the Captain Cook Memorial, which is very tall 🗿. It was built in 1971 to commemorate the 200th anniversary of Captain James Cook's voyage along the east coast of Australia in the Endeavour. Here, our phone time will automatically jump to New South Wales time. It's daylight saving time now, so the clock is an hour ahead ⏰. ・ There is a coffee shop by the sea, hidden under the Captain Cook Memorial, called Black Dingo. It was already closed when we arrived 😢, but its opening hours are fixed every day, from 5 am to 4 pm. There is a large terrace extending out from the entrance of the coffee shop, where you can overlook the entire sea level and the road at the foot of the mountain. Standing by the railing, drinking coffee, enjoying the sea view with the sea breeze blowing, it's just thinking about it is comfortable☕🌊. ・ On sunny days ☀️, it's recommended that you set off at one or two o'clock in the afternoon. It will be around three or four o'clock when you drive there. Having a picnic 🧺, taking photos 📸, or walking on the beach or grass by the sea will feel cooler. If you're lucky, you can also see the spectacular scene of whales leaping out of the water 🐋! #Australia #Brisbane #BrisbaneLife #BrisbaneSurroundings #PointDanger #Pointdanger #OntheSeaUndertheSunset #LookingattheSeaintheCamera #BrisbaneSurroundingTrip #GlobalInternationalStudentsTravel
