Brunch Spot Arrives in McKinney š³
This beloved San Diego brunch institution, with 47 years of history, has finally made its way to Dallas! I couldn't wait to visit over the weekend, and first off ā the dining environment deserves a shoutout āØ. The space is spacious and bright, featuring a large open bar šø, and I absolutely loved their patio seating āļø. Their menu is incredibly diverse, so you'll definitely find something to satisfy your cravings. From omelets and eggs Benedict š„ to French toast š„ and skillets š³, they truly have it all! 1ļøā£ Sope Benedict: A unique twist on the classic ā instead of an English muffin, it's served on a corn cake š« with a subtle spicy kick š¶ļø that gives it a delicious Mexican flair. And their hash browns deserve special praise šÆ ā perfectly crispy on the outside and utterly delicious! 2ļøā£ Chicken Fried Steak & Egg: The fried steak is crispy outside and tender inside, seasoned just right. The sunny-side-up egg was cooked to perfection š. 3ļøā£ Ranchero Skillet: A dish with rich layers of flavor and a mild spicy note. It includes pork sausage, cheese š§, avocado š„, assorted veggies, and a sunny-side-up egg ā absolutely delicious! 4ļøā£ Full Stack Banana Pancake: Fluffy and not overly sweet. The full stack is enormous š„! It would be even better with more fruit on top. āļø Drinks: Their coffee is excellent, especially the cappuccino ā aromatic with a pleasant bitterness. I tried the latte with hazelnut š° syrup, which was lightly sweetened and delightful.
