Budapest's Hidden Gems: [Rock Church] [Von Neumann's Former Residence]

Cave Church 📍 Gellért Hill Cave A truly unique church located inside a cave, with an interior made entirely of rock. It's on the Buda side, visible after crossing the green Liberty Bridge. The Liberty Bridge is also very picturesque, lighting up in green at night. 🌃 The admission is only 3 euros, and it includes a free audio guide. The ticket seller, an elderly gentleman, was very kind. Note that the church closes for Mass around 5:30 pm but reopens at 6:00 pm. If you happen to arrive during Mass, you can take a hike up the hillside. There's a huge cross halfway up that offers a great view of Pest. 🌄 📍 Von Neumann's Former Residence Plaque Báthory utca 26 I didn't know that the "grandmaster" was Hungarian 🕊️ until I saw a post on social media about a plaque you can visit. It's located in a residential area, and there's nothing much around except the plaque.
