Bunker Hill Monument 🏛️📸

Today, I passed by this towering monument and snapped a photo to commemorate my visit. Bunker Hill stands as a prominent highland in downtown Boston, marking the site of a pivotal battle during the American Revolutionary War. The British forces secured a Pyrrhic victory here, paying a heavy price with over 1,000 casualties, compared to the Patriots' 400. Standing before the monument, one can't help but feel the weight of life and death. 🌪️💔 Social transformations always come at a steep cost. For every individual, a speck of history's dust can feel like a mountain. I wish we could spare ourselves from such experiences, but the wheels of history have already begun to spin faster, heralding an uncertain, tumultuous future. 🙏💪 I pray that I'll be well-prepared, mentally stronger, and act wiser.
