Cafe Dior in Dallas is now open!

💐I had visited Cafe Dior in Miami before, and I heard that the Dallas branch opened last Saturday. I was surprised to find out that reservations were fully booked up until October. Fortunately, my family member casually checked the website and managed to secure a reservation for yesterday afternoon. Of course, we had to go and experience it! ✨Location and Ambiance Cafe Dior is located on the second floor of the Dior store in Highland Park Village. The interior decoration is quite elegant, which is completely different from the tropical style in Miami. The houndstooth chairs and the chic and modern wall decorations, along with the Dior homeware line tableware, create a very comfortable atmosphere overall. Chef and Expectations The Dallas Cafe Dior is helmed by the three-Michelin-starred chef Dominique Crenn herself, so our expectations were pretty high. 🤩 Bread Course The bread was quite ordinary, but the butter that came with it was really visually appealing and had a distinct vegetable juice flavor. ❗️Appetizers Miss Dior Consommé I ordered this soup, which was based on chicken broth and included edible flowers and some crispy grains. It reminded me of eating pot stickers. 🌼Madeleine’s Terrace This dish was quite interesting. It featured confit chicken, served with arugula and cucumber slices. It was very refreshing and appetizing, giving me a sense of eating poached chicken. ✨Main Course Marbella Prawns I chose the shrimp as my main course.
