Itās perfect for family trips, and a must-visit for anyone who loves photography, adventure, or natural history. š¦ Drumheller Dinosaur Valley Day Trip | Canāt-Miss Classic Route ā 1ļøā£ Royal Tyrrell Museum One of the worldās top dinosaur fossil museumsāits collections are stunning and super comprehensive. From May onwards, itās open daily for the summer season, so we recommend hitting this first thing in the morning! š« Tickets: $21 for adults, $10 for children, free for kids under 3 Book: via the tyrrellmuseum official website ā 2ļøā£ World's Largest Dinosaur Right in downtown Drumhellerāyou have to climb into its mouth for a photo! Word on the street is this giant statue might be demolished by 2029, so donāt wait to tick this off your list. ā³ š« Tickets: $5 (grants access to the viewing platform inside the dinosaur) ā 3ļøā£ Little Church (North Americaās Smallest) Less than a 10-minute drive from the dinosaur museum, this tiny church seats only 6 people. Donāt let its size fool youāitās incredibly photogenic, with that cozy, whimsical vibe that makes for perfect shots. šø š« Free entry, no booking needed ā 4ļøā£ Horseshoe Canyon About 15 minutes from downtown Drumheller, this is one of the most spectacular natural spots in the area! Named for its horseshoe shape, the canyonās layered, colorful rock formations look like something from another planet when viewed from the overlook. There are short trails down to the č°·åŗ (valley floor) tooāideal for family adventures or epic couple photoshoots. š š« Free entry, no booking needed ā 5ļøā£ Hoodoos Trail Drumhellerās most iconic geological wonder! These hoodoosātall, thin rock spires formed by erosionālook like āmushroom stonesā from Mars, weirdly dreamy and unique. The trail is short and easy, great for all ages. Wander, snap pics, and marvel at natureās slow-but-mighty craftsmanshipāitās a paradise for geology and dinosaur buffs alike! šŖØ š« Free to visit, no reservation required āļø Pro tip: The Royal Tyrrell Museum alone could fill a whole day if you take your time; even a quick visit takes 2 hours. Fitting all these spots into one day is doable but tight.
