🇨🇦 Calgary | Travel Guide ⭐ Attractions & Food Check-in❗ I spent a short three-day, two-night trip in Calgary while applying for a US visa. Here’s a share of the attractions and food I checked out! Attractions 📍【Calgary Tower】 The Calgary Tower is visible from every corner of the city. I didn’t go up 📸 but taking photos from below looks great too! 📍【Peace Bridge】 The interior of the bridge was under maintenance when I visited 🏞️, but the views on both sides of the bridge were nice! 📍【Olympic Plaza】 The park is beautiful. The sunlight shining on the fountain pool is stunning ⛲️. I feel like I could lie on the steps all day—it’s so (relaxing) 🦦. 📍【Wonderland Sculpture】 In the evening, the sculpture, paired with the blue glass and yellow lights of the building behind it, looks amazing in photos! 🌆 📍 A street corner I encountered while waiting for the red light 🏫 📍 I ran into the legendary Royal Canadian Mounted Police on the road 👨‍✈️—so cool! Restaurants 📍【Redheads Japa Cafe】⭐️⭐️⭐️ This is really a curry restaurant 🍛. We ordered the signature curry rice, curry noodles, and a chicken salad—all were delicious! 📍【Namo cafe bistro】⭐️⭐️⭐️ You must try the Angus Brisket for brunch here! The tender Angus beef, paired with poached eggs, tater tots, spinach, and cheese sauce, is so satisfying in one bite—super tasty 🤩. The dessert Mango Passion Fruit Berry Crepe is just average. 📍【Fortuna‘s Row】⭐️⭐️ This is a Latin American restaurant 🍴. The interior decor is beautiful and perfect for photos. The music and lighting in the restaurant create a great vibe 🍸. The soft-shell crab Arepa and dessert Milhojas are delicious! But the Res steak and Ceviche scallops are just so-so. 📍【PORCH】⭐️ The brunch here has nice decor 🍃. The food tastes okay but gets saltier the more you eat 🥲—not recommended. 📍【Shang Shang Qian (Shang Shang Qian Skewers)】⭐️ The coriander beef is decent, but everything else is average. A bit disappointing. Desserts 📍【Parlour Ice Cream】⭐️⭐️⭐️ This popular ice cream shop! Salted Caramel and Pistachio flavors are both delicious! One scoop is huge—I really love it! 📍【Village Ice Cream】⭐️⭐️ Candy Jar is good 🍬, but Melted Chocolate is just average 🍫. 📍【Royaltea】⭐️⭐️ Lychee Green Tea with Mousse 🥛—the salty milk cap with lychee is refreshing and tasty.
