🍁 California Autumn Trip|Arrived in the Wild, Open Landscape 🍂🍂
Time flies – it’s autumn again! Friends who love chasing fall colors, better start planning early this year~ These photos were taken last October 15th. 🍂 Highway 395 has been super popular in recent years. Last year I took a spin right at the tail end of fall (a bit too late though – most leaves had already fallen 🍃). Personally, I don’t think it’s necessary to make a special trip just for this route – but if you’re passing by anyway, it’ll definitely be a lovely surprise! Sharing a few scenic stops along the way: 📍 Hot Creek Geologic Site Doesn’t require much walking – park, stroll a few steps, and you can start taking pictures. Really beautiful and super photogenic! 📸 📍 Conway Summit Vast and open – I really liked this spot! About an hour round trip walking. You get mountains, lakes, and lots of golden leaves 🏞️. 📍 South Lake Cool and refreshing with a lake and snow-capped mountains. Great for a short hike. Sabrina Lake and North Lake are in the same area – if you have time, check them all out! 🥾 Have you driven Highway 395 in the fall? What’s your favorite autumn spot in California?
