California Gilroy | The Garlic Capital of the World 🧄🌿

Just driving through Gilroy, the air was filled with that unmistakable pungent aroma... and that’s how I found myself in Gilroy, the self-proclaimed "Garlic Capital" of the world!!! 🚗💨🧄 🪿 Gaggle of Garlic Geese: A random roadside sculpture I spotted—technically geese, but I’m calling them "Garlic Ducks" instead!!! 🦆😂 These quirky little statues add a fun, whimsical touch to the already garlic-filled atmosphere!!! 🍦 Garlic Shoppe: When a garlic lover encounters garlic ice cream, hesitation is inevitable!!! 😅 The serving size is just about the size of a fist, and they offer two flavors: vanilla and chocolate. The chocolate helps mask the garlic flavor, while vanilla is definitely for true garlic enthusiasts only. Following my life motto ("When in doubt, choose chocolate!!!"), I skipped the vanilla version. The kind old lady at the shop kindly warned me, "The first few bites won’t taste very garlicky, but the aftertaste hits hard!!!" 😆 I polished it off with no problem—the garlic flavor was surprisingly mild at first... but five minutes later, disaster struck!!! My mouth was fully infused with garlic!!! Turns out, the surrounding air had already marinated me from the inside out!!! 🫠🌬️🧄 Besides ice cream, the shop also has dozens of garlic seasonings, elephant garlic bulbs, and over a hundred hot sauces (ranging from 1 to 10++ million SHU!!!). 🔥🌶️ 🎄 Garlic World: An even bigger garlic supermarket than the previous shop!!! Even more garlic products, and yes—the garlic ice cream makes another appearance!!! There’s also garlic chocolate cookies that I didn’t dare to try again.
