Campfire San Diego Food Review ππ₯
I heard this restaurant was super popular, so we specifically booked the first seating at opening time! β° They open at 5 PM, and we arrived at 4:45, only to find a long line already formed at the door! π«ππ¬ Everyone was eagerly waiting β the crowd really surprised me! They had just switched to the autumn menu, and the highly recommended lamb was unfortunately no longer available. What a bummer π But it was okay! We ordered oysters and shrimp as appetizers π¦ͺπ€ The oysters were smooth with a fresh, oceanic taste; the shrimp were springy and tasty with the sauce β very appetizing! For our mains, we tried the Sea Bass and Pork Belly ππ· The sea bass had a crispy skin and tender flesh; the pork belly was nicely charred and aromatic, though the overall flavor was a bit too salty for my taste β I drank a lot of water! π₯ We also ordered that dark, charred broccoli which looked like a lump of coal π₯¦ but tasted surprisingly smoky and good! Honestly, the ingredients they use arenβt anything extraordinary, but their sauces are really well-made and definitely elevate the dishes π The whole meal was decent, but nothing particularly wowed me. Consider it a successful check-in! π Probably wouldnβt make a special trip back here again. #SanDiegoEats #CampfireReview #AutumnMenu #FoodDiary #EverydayShare #HonestReview #FoodieLife
