Campfire San Diego Food Review πŸ‚πŸ”₯

I heard this restaurant was super popular, so we specifically booked the first seating at opening time! ⏰ They open at 5 PM, and we arrived at 4:45, only to find a long line already formed at the door! πŸ‘«πŸ‘πŸ‘¬ Everyone was eagerly waiting – the crowd really surprised me! They had just switched to the autumn menu, and the highly recommended lamb was unfortunately no longer available. What a bummer πŸ˜” But it was okay! We ordered oysters and shrimp as appetizers πŸ¦ͺ🍀 The oysters were smooth with a fresh, oceanic taste; the shrimp were springy and tasty with the sauce – very appetizing! For our mains, we tried the Sea Bass and Pork Belly 🐟🐷 The sea bass had a crispy skin and tender flesh; the pork belly was nicely charred and aromatic, though the overall flavor was a bit too salty for my taste – I drank a lot of water! πŸ₯› We also ordered that dark, charred broccoli which looked like a lump of coal πŸ₯¦ but tasted surprisingly smoky and good! Honestly, the ingredients they use aren’t anything extraordinary, but their sauces are really well-made and definitely elevate the dishes πŸ‘ The whole meal was decent, but nothing particularly wowed me. Consider it a successful check-in! πŸ“ Probably wouldn’t make a special trip back here again. #SanDiegoEats #CampfireReview #AutumnMenu #FoodDiary #EverydayShare #HonestReview #FoodieLife
