🇨🇦Calgary Guide (Even a day trip is too long, honestly~) 💗For those heading to Banff, you’ll almost definitely pass through Calgary, but let’s be real—no need to set aside tons of time for this city. Half a day of wandering is more than enough! Trust me, let me break it down👇 🚗Transportation: If you’re short on time, highly recommend a combo of driving + city walk! Staying downtown is super convenient—lots of attractions are within walking distance, saving time and energy~ ✨Attractions + Route Recommendations (tested and approved!): 📍 Since we had a car, we first hit Crescent Heights Lookout Point—a spot you can’t reach on foot! The view overlooking Calgary from here is chef’s kiss🌆 The city skyline + distant mountain views in one frame—every photo feels like a blockbuster. Totally worth a special trip! 📍Chinatown: We drove past and peeked in, and was a bit shocked😱 It was quiet with barely anyone around, and the streets felt lifeless. We hopped out for a quick walk then left—no need to go out of your way here~ 📍Wonderland Sculpture (internet-famous spot): Just a face sculpture in front of an office building😶 The design is unique, perfect for a quick photo to post, but no need to linger~ 📍Central Library: This one’s definitely worth a visit! We made a point to park and went in—the architecture is so cool🤩 The curved arches + viral atrium are super photogenic, and the vibe inside is cozy—people reading, working, just chilling. Even if you don’t read, it’s worth popping in to soak it up~ 📍Calgary Tower: Undoubtedly a city landmark, and you can see it clearly from the road🗼 Personally, I don’t think it’s worth paying to go up—snapping a pic from afar is enough! 📍Stephen Avenue Walk: Calgary’s downtown pedestrian street, great for shopping and eating! There are lots of unique little shops and restaurants along the way🍴 We picked a random steakhouse, and the food was surprisingly delicious with a nice ambiance~ So no need to fixate on “internet-famous” spots—random picks might just surprise you! 📍If you have time in the evening, must visit Prince’s Island Park! Guides say it’s perfect for a relaxing stroll, and in the evening, tons of locals picnic or go boating here🚣‍♀️Sadly we were in a hurry and missed it—slight regret! If you have time, don’t skip it~ #Calgary #TravelGuide #Banff #CanadaTravel
