Canberra | A City Suitable for Introverts
▪️🔥🔥🔥 A city center with only public transport, wide and clean roads, few pedestrians, and almost no rumble of engines or honking. Canberra has no bustling traffic, yet its extremely sophisticated urban planning seems to carry a certain divinity—serene but not intimidating. ▪️📍 The Bauhaus-style National Gallery of Australia reminds me of Rome’s new urban area. It’s not quite the "exotic charm" stereotypically imagined by East Asians; instead, it radiates a glow of rationalism—simple yet . The area around the Australian National University is similar: it lacks Melbourne’s artistic individuality but fits the city’s positioning even better. ▪️📍 I was worried about rain during my few days here visiting friends, but unexpectedly, the sun came out as soon as I landed. The next day, I woke up to the warmth of sunlight, and took a ride with my friend to enjoy Canberra’s autumn. "The temperature is slightly higher than Melbourne’s, and the air feels a bit drier." Having moved between different cities in recent years, I’ve become particularly attentive to climate (Seoul currently ranks first). On nice days, cycling by the lake or strolling in the park outside the art gallery are both great options. ▪️📍 Before leaving, I also bought the popular souvenir: a water cup printed with "Canberra thinks you’re boring too." Great scenery, but "boring"—perhaps only an introvert who enjoys solo travel can find some unique charm in it. ❤️❤️❤️ #SceneryOnTheJourney #Travel #AroundTheWorld #MyNicheTravelGuide #Canberra #CanberraDaily #CanberraTravel
