Canberra | The City That Drives Extroverts Crazy 😵💫
☕️ Bedst ⭐️⭐️ Heard the coffee was “amazing” – but honestly, it was just okay. Not terrible, but Melbourne has spoiled me lol! The vibe was decent, but very few seats – most people take away. Not ideal for staying in. But hey, when in Canberra 😂 📍 Unit 185/20 Allara St 🖼️ National Gallery of Australia ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Worth a quick visit! Pretty small though. Some interesting pieces (especially the Indigenous art section). If you use your imagination, you might kill some time here 😜 I’m not a huge art person, so I just breezed through. 📍 Parkes Pl E 🎀 Pop Canberra ⭐️⭐️⭐️ A cute store selling local designs – totally stands out in Canberra! The colorful interior feels like a Hawaiian pop-up 🌺 Spent almost an hour here picking unique fridge magnets and stickers – great for souvenirs! 📍 Shop G12/27 Lonsdale St 🏛️ Parliament House ⭐️⭐️⭐️ You can chill Aussie-style on the grass or go inside (free entry!). It’s an iconic spot – worth feeling the political vibes for a bit 🏛️ 📍 Parliament Dr 🌳 National Arboretum ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Come at golden hour – BEST photo spot! 📸 A vast forest on the edge of the city – feels like Canberra’s “soul exit”. The view from the top is epic – you’ll feel like the main character. 📍 Forest Dr 🍲 The Golden Drum (Sichuan Cuisine) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The emotional savior of this trip! 🥹🔥 Recommended by a friend – a MUST-try in Canberra! Their Mao Xue Wang & Laziji brought me back to life!!! Ate three bowls of rice – cured my two-day emo instantly 😭👏 📍 1/14 Childers St Canberra is FREAKING cold ❄️ The quiet and emptiness amplifies your emotions – it’s the kind of place that makes you wanna lie down and get depressed. The wind bites, and after 5 minutes outside, you’ll question your life choices 😂 Sun sets at 5 PM – streets turn into a post-apocalyptic movie by dusk. As a city girl, these three days felt soooo long 🥲 #MalaysianInAus #Canberra #AussieStudentLife #TravelAustralia #WhatToDoInCanberra #CanberraGuide
