Shoutout to ANU’s restrooms – so clean! 🚻 📍 Harry Hartog ANU Campus – spacious bookstore with cute merch and gifts! 🍁 Autumn in Canberra was stunning – maple trees everywhere! 🍛 Stop 3 | Kinn Thai Restaurant Booked in advance (it’s popular!). Ordered: Shrimp fried rice Soft-shell crab with spicy sauce Pork ribs Thai milk tea & pineapple juice ⚠️ Skip the pork ribs – too salty, slightly bitter, and huge portion. Prefer Thai food in Sydney 😿… not the best value. 🖼️ Stop 4 | National Gallery of Australia Free entry, no booking needed. Bag storage available on L1. Loved the exhibits – especially works by Australian artists! Saw Monet’s Water Lilies in person 🪷 Pink-themed art space – super photogenic! 📸 🏛️ Stop 5 | Old Parliament House White building + vintage red carpet = retro vibes! Across from Mount Ainslie (panoramic city views – skipped this time). 🇦🇺 Stop 6 | Parliament House Stunning reflective pool outside 🌊 Modern interior with green (House of Reps) and red (Senate) halls. 🪙 Stop 7 | Royal Australian Mint Official coin mint! Make a $3 souvenir coin on L1, watch production on L2.
