Canberra Extreme "Special Forces" Two-Day Travel Guide
The War Memorial is particularly (stunning). I didn’t dare to take photos—you’ll have to feel it for yourself when you walk in. It’s truly both beautiful and solemn. The Mint is small, but the souvenir shop downstairs is well worth a visit. There are birth year commemorative coins, which make great gifts, and the Year of the Snake coins are also very nice. For 3 dollars, you can make a coin yourself. There’s also a staircase made entirely of coins, perfect for us money-minded ENTJs. May everyone make a fortune all the way every year! National Arboretum Canberra: Flying a kite here, enjoying the breeze, relaxing, and taking in the beautiful scenery is super worthwhile. Old Parliament House: It’s fun!!! There are typewriters inside, and a photo spot themed “Rebirth: Me as Australia’s Prime Minister.” New Parliament House: The food at the café inside isn’t great, but the gift shop has super cheap prices. The Chinese Embassy has a really large area, and the architecture is very distinctive. Standing directly opposite the gate will give you a little 🤏🏻 shock (you’ll know when you go). National Gallery and Museum: Those with an artistic flair can take a closer look. Check the museum for special exhibitions—I caught the Pompeii exhibition this time, and the volcanic eruption display was very realistic. Outside the gallery, there’s “Within Without,” where tons of girls take photos, but honestly, the beauty comes from the girls themselves; the place is just so-so. Mount Ainslie: It’s well worth visiting for the sunset, which is beautifully regular. Australian National University: The Shine Demo is nice, and take a photo with the school sign. Canberra is really a budget-friendly travel destination. All the places I mentioned don’t require reservations and are free to enter. There are parking lots near the attractions, and most offer free parking on weekends and public holidays. #InternationalStudentMentalState #StudentTravel #StudentDailyLife #SpartanTravel #CanberraLife #AustraliaLife #AustraliaTravel #CanberraTravel #CanberraSurroundings #TravelGuide
