Capitol Oyster Bar: A Wonderful Riverside Restaurant

🥨If there's one place in Montgomery that makes fried shrimp so unforgettable, it's definitely Capitol Oyster Bar, tucked away by the Alabama River. 🥨 The restaurant may look unassuming from the outside, but the food and flavors inside are truly remarkable. 🥣The terrace seating offers a view of the sunset over the river. We really loved this place. And the cat is friendly! 🥣 In the middle of the restaurant, there's an old-fashioned barrel filled with peanut shells—a Southern tradition of "just toss them" that makes everyone feel completely at ease here. 💛The wait for oysters can be longer. I really enjoy the atmosphere of this place, but there's always a bit of a wait. They cook your food fresh to order, so it comes out hot and delicious. 💛There may be many places with great food, but a place that makes you remember the sunset, the river breeze, and the smiles is truly special. #RiversideDining #SouthernFlavors #Montgomery
