Capt’n Loui | K-Town Cajun Seafood Boil 🦞🌶️
Grabbed dinner with friends at Capt’n Loui, a newly opened Cajun-style seafood boil spot in Koreatown! As a chain, I actually prefer it over Boiling Crab—bigger portions and bold flavors. After visiting New Orleans, I’ve been craving authentic Cajun seafood, and this totally hit the spot. 🦀 Seafood Combo – You can mix and match by the pound (2 lbs comes with a free side!). We went big with a bucket full of stone crab, crab legs, jumbo shrimp, mussels, crawfish, sausage, potatoes, and corn. The Capt’n Loui signature sauce (medium spicy) was garlicky, buttery, and packed with Cajun kick—seriously addictive! 🦪 Oysters – I’m usually picky with oysters, but theirs were sweet, fresh, and not fishy at all. Pro tip: Tuesdays = $1 oysters! 🦪💸 🦞 Lobster Roll – Buttery and loaded with tender lobster meat. A great choice for non-crab lovers. The fried calamari was also crispy and perfect with beer. 🍺 🍦 Dessert – Skipped the beignets for a fried mochi-like treat (forgot the name!), served warm with vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce. Crispy outside, chewy inside—so good! 📍 Capt’n Loui 3465 W 6th St Ste 110, Los Angeles, CA 90020 #CaptnLoui #KTownEats #CajunSeafood #SeafoodBoil #LAFood #SpicyEats #GarlicButterSauce #Oysters #LobsterRoll #KoreatownLA #LAEats #FoodieFeast #WeekendVibes
