🌄 Captivated by the Beauty of Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs!

Garden of the Gods is a must-visit spot in Colorado Springs! I arrived without much planning and headed straight to the visitor center. The line for tickets was long, with many tour options. Two suited us: A 45-minute trolley tour for $25 (sold out for the next 2 hours) 🚌 A 90-minute Jeep tour for $70 (departing in 30 minutes) – so we chose the Jeeps! 🚙💨 But honestly… you don’t need to pay for a tour! You can drive through the park yourself – as many times as you want – for FREE! In fact, after the tour, I dropped my bags at the hotel and drove back in the evening for another loop 😄. The Jeep tour’s first stop was a "castle" – which turned out to be the hotel I’d booked for the night! I didn’t realize it during the tour and only recognized it when I returned that evening 🏰😆. The red rock formations here are stunning and impressive… though they can’t quite compete with Sedona’s grandeur (which I visited later). Still, the scenery is beautiful, and the ecology is rich! I spotted: Eagle nests on cliffs 🦅 Bighorn sheep 🐑 Deer-like animals (maybe muntjac or roe deer? 🦌) I also saw a family snacking on chips, apples, ham sandwiches, and tea eggs with a mountain view – they looked so content! 🍎🥪🥚 And of course, I photographed all the famous rock formations: Old Woman Rock Camel Rock Kissing Camels Monkey Rock And even one that looked like JJ Lin! 📸😉 A satisfying visit overall! #GardenOfTheGods #ColoradoSprings #TravelTips #FreeAttraction #RedRocks #NatureLovers #WildlifeWatching #RoadTripUSA #JeepTour #ScenicViews 🏜️✨
