Cave Restaurant Seville 🇪🇸 Good enough to come every day 🥹
🍴 San Marco Santa Cruz: Seville’s Unassuming Legend—We’d Move Here for This Food No one recommended it. The location is easy to miss. But from the first bite, we were hooked—so much so that my mom and I returned daily, determined to try every dish. This is the kind of spot that makes you fall in love with a city—and hate leaving it. 🌟 The Dishes We Obsessed Over Braised Oxtail 🐂 Our ride-or-die. Slow-cooked to fork-tender perfection, with meat that falls off the bone and a rich, savory sauce that’s so good, we mopped it up with bread. It’s hearty, flavorful, and impossible to resist. Steak 🥩 Juicy, perfectly seasoned, and cooked to that ideal pink center. Simple, but executed flawlessly—no fancy tricks, just great meat. Seafood Pasta & Paella 🍝🥘 The pasta is tossed with plump shrimp and a light, briny sauce; the paella is saffron-kissed with fresh seafood. Both are vibrant, satisfying, and full of that “just-cooked” freshness. Cod 🐟 Flaky, tender, and delicate—cooked to melt-in-your-mouth perfection, with a light seasoning that lets the fish shine. Tartare 🥩 Served with crusty bread, it’s bright, fresh, and a great starter—zesty enough to wake up your taste buds. 🍰 Desserts: The Star of the Show Skip the diet—these are non-negotiable: Lemon Tart: Tangy, buttery, and not too sweet. The crust is crisp, the filling is bright—pure citrus joy. Tiramisu: Rich, coffee-soaked, and creamy without being heavy. A classic done right. Chocolate Lava Cake 🍫 My absolute favorite. Warm, gooey, and oozing with molten chocolate—paired with a dollop of cream, it’s heaven. Cheesecake: Silky, smooth, and subtly sweet. We mourned not having room for seconds. 📍 The Deets Vibe: Tiny, unassuming, and packed with locals (always a good sign). No flashy decor—just focus on the food. Hours: Lunch is first-floor only (book ahead!); dinner opens all three floors (walk-ins welcome). Why We’d Return: This place alone is reason enough to revisit Seville. We left counting the days until we could eat here again. San Marco Santa Cruz is proof that the best spots in Seville are the ones you stumble on. It’s not just a restaurant—it’s a memory in every bite. #SevilleHiddenGems #FoodieObsession #SpanishComfortFood
