Cebuchon & BBQ

I’d long heard about Cebuchon & BBQ, and today I finally got to try it. We waited about 20 minutes—my craving for meat was really kicking in by then 🐷, like my stomach was doing a happy dance just thinking about all that grilled goodness! The aroma wafting from the kitchen while we waited? Chef’s kiss 👩🍳—it made the wait totally worth it, even though my mouth was watering the whole time😋. Meat platter 💰81 This 5-person all-meat platter is a carnivore’s dream come true 🥩🎉! It includes pork belly that’s crispy on the edges and melt-in-your-mouth tender in the middle, pork skewers with that perfect charred finish🔥, juicy chicken legs with skin so crispy it crackles when you bite into it, mini sausages that burst with flavor when you pierce them, and ribs that fall off the bone with a gentle nudge 🦴. All the grilled meats are on the sweet side, tasting quite similar to the pork chop rice from Saigon Lady—think sticky, savory-sweet sauce that clings to every piece of meat. It also comes with three small vegetable salad sides, but let’s be real—they’re just a tiny token of greenery 🥗. One platter was more than enough to overwhelm four of us—we were seriously craving cucumbers 🥒, lettuce 🥬, and celery like they were gold. In the end, we left half of it because we just couldn’t finish—our stomachs were begging for mercy 🛑! Overall, both the flavor and portion size are great, with good value for money 👍. If you like seafood, you can opt for the platter with grilled shrimp 🦐—I bet those are juicy and charred to perfection, with that smoky grill flavor we all love. To sum up: The portion of meat is massive ❗️ Like, “are they trying to feed a small army?” massive 🤯. If there are only two of you, I’d recommend each getting a $20 rice bowl instead—still delicious, but way less leftovers to lug home. The flavor is sweet and fragrant, but I’d suggest bringing along a vegetable salad 🥗 or vegetable juice—trust me, you’ll thank me later. When you start feeling greasy, being able to pull out a stalk of celery to munch on raw really helps cut through the richness, like a little refreshing reset button 🧘♀️. Honestly, this place is a must-try for meat lovers 🥩❤️—just make sure you come hungry (and maybe wear stretchy pants 👖). The wait was totally worth it, and I’m already planning my next visit—maybe next time I’ll try those shrimp 🍤. Yum! 😋 #Edmonton#Edmontoncuisine
