Read moreThe Wife and I went to K-Days for the first time in 30 years. We went to spend a lot of time and money and relive some of our youth. We were a little disappointed. Here's what we experienced. There were limited entrances to gain access. Usually a long walk required to find a entrance or exit. Then Security screening. We thought we would first share a large ice cold lemon aid. We got a half lemon squeezed into a 20oz Cup and warm water. No ice $10. We took our warm lemon aid and went and sat in park and enjoyed a band. We continued on our quest down the midway and found a Corn Dog stand,,, It was incredible several varieties to choose from too. Well now we are hot as it's 29 and sunny, Now time for some AC and a cold beer in the EXPO center. It was filled will all sorts of merchandise and exhibits. The AC was ice Cold. The Beer in the expo was not it was warm . We walked the Expo thoroughly. There were also a number on eating choices in the Expo. We choose one out side the Expo serving bbq chicken in a pita with a creamy garlic sauce. Very Good Tried the beer tent next to the pita place. Beer ice Cold. My wife had a Garlic Ceasar. Very good There seemed a lack of energy generally. The Midway was lacking few rides, NO gambling games of chance or casino. Looks like others games to win prizes and stuffed animals have almost priced themselves to a elite crowd. The grounds were not filled or crowded, but the lines were long to gain access to rides. Full size rides adveraged $5/ride or better. Unless you purchase unlimited...
