Cesarina: Where the Desserts Upstage the Pasta

Cesarina is an Italian restaurant located in Point Loma, San Diego. While it specializes in handmade pasta, what really surprised me was their desserts—they were the true highlight! We ordered several dishes. 🐙 The Polpo Croccanate was a sweet-style grilled octopus, which wasn’t really my favorite. 🍝 The Paccheri Vodka E Scampi, a prawn pasta with rich sauce, was delicious! Another dish, GNOCCHI PORCINI with mushrooms and shrimp, had fragrant potato gnocchi, though it was a bit on the salty side. However, the most unforgettable part was definitely the desserts! 🍰 The Tiramisu was made fresh right at our table—light, not too sweet, and honestly the best I’ve had in the U.S.! ✨ The Sorbet of the week was a berry flavor, perfectly balanced between sweet and tart, and very refreshing. Even though I was already full, I couldn’t resist finishing both desserts—it was pure happiness! 💖 Overall, the food here tends to be salty, so I’d recommend ordering in moderation, or you might fill up on water! But no matter what, make sure to save room for dessert—you won’t regret it! 🥂 #SanDiegoFood #ItalianRestaurant #HandmadePasta #Tiramisu #DessertLover #FoodDiary #FoodieLife
