Spent Thanksgiving in Charlotte with the girls for a little "work-from-anywhere" retreat! 💼✨ By day, we worked our 9-5; by night, we hit the town for good food and great vibes. We tried Barcelona Wine Bar — loved the ambiance (and the spacious restrooms 😉). Even with a reservation, we waited a bit to be seated… our inner impatient New Yorkers were showing! 😅 But the tapas were delicious and offered great value. Highly recommend! 🫒 Our Tapas Highlights: Crispy Pork Belly: An absolute star! 🌟 Slow-roasted to perfection, crispy skin, rich flavor — disappears in seconds! Potato Bravas: Cheesy, layered, so good even a potato-skeptic like me had multiple bites! 🥔Garlic Cream Mussels: Plump, fresh, zero grit or fishy taste 🐚 Fried Octopus: Crispy, flavorful, not greasy at all 🐙 Black Truffle Pork: So tender it melted in our mouths! We ordered a second round. The truffle-infused mashed potatoes underneath were divine 🖤 Garlic Shrimp: Bouncy, juicy, and reliably delicious 🍤Cured Salmon: A bit too heavy on the coarse salt, but still tasty once brushed off 🐟Seafood Paella: Rice was soft (not undercooked!), loaded with seafood.
