💥 Charlotte Food Review | Flame Bistro in Pineville

I just spent over $100 at the newly opened Flame Bistro in Pineville so you don’t have to — and trust me, you don’t want to. 🚫 Let’s start with the service — because oh, where do I begin? The staff seemed nervous and poorly trained. One server had a large, red, puss-filled bump on his eyelid 😳 — and the manager still had him handling food and serving tables. Not exactly appetizing. The restaurant layout is… confusing. The bar was right next to us, yet our water had to be fetched all the way from the kitchen 🚰? One server even asked: “Can I top off your glass before I put this back in the kitchen?” Topping up water shouldn’t feel like a quest from Journey to the West 🐒📖. Then there was our server — let’s call him “Big Bubble Eye” 👁️. When I asked for napkins, he got pulled aside by the manager and scolded for 10-15 minutes! I had to flag down another server just to get some paper. There were about 8 staff members in total — but only 2 seemed to be actually working. The rest were chatting while the managers enforced the weirdest serving ritual: A full ceremonial procession where dishes were passed down a line of servers before reaching our table 🫴🤲📥. If the owner is foreign, I’d say they’ve watched one too many Chinese palace dramas 🏯🎬. And of course — just as our thirsty server returned from his scolding, he was immediately pulled away again to join the Grand Serving Parade. 💧😭 📦 Pro Tip: Don’t order more than 4 dishes — because even with 4 servers around you, no one will clear space or help you arrange the plates. You’ll have to DIY your own table setting. 🍜 Now… The Food The beef chow fun was… fine. But when I asked for chili oil, my server managed to spill it all over my pants 🌶️👖. So yeah — flavor with a side of stain. 💔 Final Verdict: Skip this one unless you’re in the mood for chaotic service, awkward rituals, and pants that smell like chili oil for the rest of the day. #FlameBistroFail #PinevilleEats #CharlotteFoodScene #ServiceNightmare #SkipThisSpot #DiningDisaster #CLTfoodie #NotWorthIt #YelpWorthy #RantReview #FoodieWarning #CharlotteNC
