Chattanooga Day Trip from Atlanta 🍂
Nature lovers—don’t miss this place! Perfect for mountains, waterfalls, rocks, and stunning views. You can explore all three attractions in one morning/afternoon 😆. Great for a road trip from Knoxville/Nashville, or as a side adventure from Atlanta, Georgia! ☺️ 1️⃣ Ruby Falls 💎 A guided tour deep into a cave (about 80 meters underground!). Duration: ~2 hours 👀 Starts with a short film about the history of Ruby Falls. Guide shares how the cave was discovered—so inspiring! 🫡 Chilly and humid inside, but not too cold. The waterfall is magical with colorful lights! 🌈 2️⃣ Lookout Mountain Incline Railway 🚞 The world’s steepest passenger railway! $15 round trip | 10-minute ride | 90-degree incline! Glass windows offer views of fall foliage 🍁 or winter snow ❄️ (if lucky!). Top of the mountain overlooks Chattanooga (but clouds ruined our view that day 🥲). 3️⃣ Rock City Gardens 🪨 My FAVORITE of the three! Way more than just rocks—a natural maze that feels like real-life Temple Run! 🏃♂️ Hike from the base to the summit through narrow rock passages, stairs, and suspension bridges (scary but fun!). See the "7 States" view + waterfalls + fairy-tale caverns with dreamy lights. Absolutely breathtaking—you have to see it to believe it! 💯 Tickets: ~$25 (I got in free with Ober Working Pass 🥰). ☕ Grab Starbucks nearby before entering—sip and snap pics like a pro! 😎 Let me know what you’d like to see next! 🤔️ #Tennessee #Atlanta #AroundAtlanta #Chattanooga #WorkAndTravelUSA #NatureLovers #FallVibes #TravelDiaries 📔
