Great Spots Near Atlanta: Chattanooga Getaway 🍂🚗
Tired of Atlanta’s terrible traffic? Drive just 2 hours northwest to Chattanooga, Tennessee—a perfect escape for a crisp autumn day! 🤍 Hidden Gem: Falling Water Falls A quiet short hike leading to a cliffside with a small waterfall. The view is gorgeous, but my fear of heights kept me from looking straight down! 🙈 ⚠️ Arrive before 5 PM—no parking allowed from evening to morning. 🤍 Incline Railway 🚞 Called the world’s steepest railway! Parking $3, round-trip ticket $20. Honestly… it’s a bit overrated. The views are nice, but it’s mostly a gentle ride—great for grandparents with kids 👵👧, very wholesome! 🤍 Civil War Site At the top of the railway, you can walk around the site of the bloodiest battle of the Civil War. 🎟️ Tickets are cheaper if bought at the railway station (~$7), but still not sure it’s worth it 😅 🤍 Middle Eastern Café ☕ Tried the baklava cheesecake and lemonade—pretty good! The owner gave us two free pastries—texture like mooncakes but with a savory meat flavor. Interesting… but tasty! 🤍 Lookout Mountain 🏔️ No need to say much—hiking is always a good idea! They say on clear days you can see 6 states, but honestly… who can actually see state lines? 🤣 #AutumnVibes 🍁#OctoberFall 🎃#FallIsHere 🍂#AtlantaLife 🍑#AtlantaFoodFun 🥘#Tennessee 📍
