Checked Out the New Sushi Place in Frisco: Hatsuyuki

šŸ£I’ve heard that this place was super popular in Fort Worth, and now it’s opened near The Star in Frisco. As a Japanese food lover, I couldn’t miss out! About the Queue: šŸ’•They seem to only allow walk - ins for now. I initially planned to go with friends around 6 pm, but when we got there, the line was already an hour long. We couldn’t wait that long, so we left right away, haha. A few days later, I went back and arrived right at opening time, 5:05 pm. I managed to snag the last two seats at the bar. By 5:15, people were already lining up for the second round. How to Order: šŸ¦žThey have a paper menu, but I forgot to take a photo. I borrowed one from the internet. I suggest not ordering from this paper menu—it’s quite ordinary. The hand roll combo on the paper menu is also nothing special. Instead, I recommend taking a photo of their "Today’s Specials" written on the blackboard. All their famous and delicious items are listed there. The blackboard can be a bit overwhelming because it’s densely packed with information. šŸ£If you’re not familiar with their menu, it might take a while to figure out. "Su" means you can order nigiri sushi, and "sa" means you can order sashimi. I only understood this after the staff explained it to me. So, I’m sharing what I ordered and what I thought was delicious. Hopefully, this will give you some inspiration for ordering. Haha! 🄩I also noticed many people ordering unagi nigiri with sea urchin, salmon roe, and oysters. The presentation is very elegant. You should definitely give it a try. If you have any recommendations for other dishes that you’ve tried and loved, feel free to share. I’ll definitely check them out on my next visit. #DallasFood #DallasWeekend #StudentExplore #StudentEats
