Chez Elles: A Cozy and Delightful French Bistro in London 🥐
When I searched for Chez Elles on social media, I found hardly any reviews about this restaurant. I was a bit nervous about trying it, but it turned out to be a huge surprise! The food was absolutely delicious! 😋 🧅 Onion Soup : This appetizer was a perfect start. The soup was savory and aromatic, with melted cheese that just dissolved in your mouth. On a cold day, it was both warming and heartwarming! 🥰 Garlic Butter Escargot : The snails were already separated from their shells, making them easy to eat with a fork or paired with crispy garlic bread. The texture was chewy and satisfying, and I couldn't stop eating them. I even ordered another plate because it was so good! 🍜 Confit Duck Leg : The duck was tender and flavorful, cooked to perfection. It was served on a bed of chickpea purée, which had a subtly sweet and nutty flavor that complemented the duck beautifully. 😋 Carrot and Spinach Layered Potato Mash : The potato mash was smooth and creamy, infused with spinach puree. The carrots added a natural sweetness, and the dish was topped with stewed cabbage and pistachio crumbs. It was a rich yet refreshing combination! 🥔 Lemon Tart : This was their special, and I let the waiter bring it without hesitation. It arrived quickly, and I thought it might be pre-made, but it was incredibly delicious. The aroma of fresh lemon filled the air, and the tart had a soft, fluffy texture. Surprisingly, it wasn't too sweet—just a burst of lemony freshness! 🍋 Pistachio Caramel Crème Brûlée : The pistachio flavor was subtle, and this dessert was much sweeter than the previous one. It might be too sweet for those who don't like overly sweet dishes, but I enjoyed it. The crème brûlée melted in my mouth, releasing a rich aroma of eggs and cream. 🍮 #FrenchCuisine #DateNight #LondonRestaurant #LondonFrench #LondonFoodie #LondonExplore
