Chinese Tea Pastries Meet Korean Sweet Cream Latte
A Cozy Ktown Afternoon Tea 🍵✨ Hey everyone! I was in Ktown for a meal and stumbled upon this super trendy spot—so I decided to treat myself to an afternoon tea session. Verdict: ✨ A lovely place for a date or a cute catch-up! If you're solo, it’s worth trying once for the experience and photos—but maybe not a regular stop. 🥮 DAMO 📍 3510 W 8th St, Los Angeles, CA 90005 🅿️ Free plaza parking available DAGWA – $13 A petite assortment of tea pastries—most taste similar to mooncakes 🥮. The one with butter, persimmon, and nuts was the standout! Comes with a sweet cream cheese foam for dipping. Everything is quite sweet, but the texture is smooth and delicate. Einspener – $8 🍵 Matcha has a slight bitterness | 🍓 Strawberry is very sweet (from the syrup) I asked for oat milk in both—super silky at first, but gets sweeter as the ice melts. Recommend trying their tea options (heard they have Chinese-style boiled tea!) or asking for less sugar. Have you visited DAMO? Which pastry or drink would you want to try?
