Chino Hills Foodie Guide | Super Affordable Korean Eats, No Regrets!

Lately I’ve been discovering so many great food spots in the East LA area—this Korean restaurant came highly recommended online, and it’s both budget-friendly and delicious. Had to try it! Usually, braised short ribs (galbijjim) are only orderable for big groups, but here they have a small portion for just $28.99—perfect for two people 👍 They offer two styles: the classic spicy version and a "royal" braised short rib, which is lighter, more refined, and less heavy than the typical sweet-spicy kind. Their lunch combos are solid too—I got Combo C, which came with a unique grilled meat patty (crispy and fragrant) and a clear, savory broth that didn’t taste like MSG soup. I actually meant to order the baby octopus rice bowl but accidentally got the stone pot bulgogi rice instead—still delicious though, and huge on portions. Seriously, more meat than rice, almost like a beef clay pot rice!😍😊 Overall, the flavors are homestyle and balanced—not overly sweet like some Korean spots can be. Prices are very reasonable; even with a large braised ribs order, our whole table came out to just around $100.😂👍 The restaurant is clean, spacious, and cozy—a true hidden gem in an area not exactly known for Korean food! #LADiscovery #LAEats #LAFood #ChinoHillsEats#EastLAFood #KoreanComfort #AffordableEats #HiddenGemLA
