Christmas Eve
Christmas Eve dinner at Edison was absolutely amazing! (P.S. That Bad Fin in Clearwater we had last night was pretty fantastic toođ Letâs start with the appetizersâwe went all out, and wow, did they deliver! The cheese croquettes? Crispy on the outside, oozing with molten, gooey cheese insideâpure comfort in every biteđ§. The foie gras? Rich, buttery, and perfectly seared, with a sweet-tart jam that cut through the richness like a dream. Grilled octopus? Tender, charred just right, with a zesty marinade that made each chew pop with flavorđ. And the bone marrow? Oh my goodnessâsilky, savory, and spread on that crispy grilled bread (p3) was a match made in food heaven. I went full-on foodie mode, devouring it like thereâs no tomorrowđ„”âseriously, every dish left my taste buds singing, and I couldnât stop raving about how good they were! The main courses? No letdowns here either. The standout? Hands down the airline chicken, scallops, and duck. That airline chicken in p5 might not look like much, but donât let its plain appearance fool youâit was insanely juicy, with tender meat that practically melted in my mouth. And the fried rice that came with it? So flavorful, with just the right amount of seasoningâdefinitely a highlightđ. The scallops were seared to golden perfection, sweet and plump, while the duck was cooked to tender perfection with crispy skin and a rich, savory sauceđŠ. They might not have blown my mind, but they were solid, delicious, and totally satisfyingâno complaints here! All in all, I highly recommend this place to everyone! Sure, itâs on the pricier side (almost $100 per personđȘ) and the portions are on the smaller side, but let me tell youâthis is not some overhyped internet-famous spot. Itâs the real deal, way above those flashy, underwhelming trendy restaurantsđč. It was such a satisfying mealâdefinitely left me feeling full and happy, in the best way possible! P.S. Does anyone know what "airline chicken" actually means?? Itâs delicious, but Iâm stumpedđ€ #Patan
