WATERFRONT GRILL

On the way back from kayaking at Weeki Wachee, we randomly stumbled upon this seafood spot—and it was such a steal! 🦀 Their stone crabs are an absolute standout: 2 pounds for just \(34! The meat is super fresh, sweet, and juicy—we ate until we couldn’t move, it was that good. Just thinking about how we paid \)40 for a single pound in Key West makes me shed a tear of regret 😭. This place is a total game-changer for crab lovers. The snow crab was decent too, though a little on the salty side. But the shrimp 🦐? Perfectly cooked with a clean, fresh flavor, and the meat was so firm and springy—you could tell they were super fresh. On the flip side, the grouper and the mashed potatoes in the picture? Not really worth it. They weren’t bad, just… nothing special. Skip ’em and load up on the crab instead! Bonus: The restaurant is in Tarpon Springs, a charming little town with a rich Greek heritage 🏛️. One of the waitresses there was absolutely stunning—pale skin, classic features, totally looked like she had Greek roots ✨. The town itself is so laid-back and cozy, full of elderly folks enjoying their vacations—it feels like a little slice of paradise. We also grabbed some ice cream while wandering around, and it was a nice surprise! A "flight" (sampler) costs $10.5, and one of the chocolate flavors is even award-winning 🍦. Totally worth a quick stop after your meal. If you’re in the area after a day of adventuring, this spot is a no-brainer. Fresh seafood, great prices, and a cute town to explore afterward—what more could you ask for? 😊 #Patan
