๐ Christmas Feast at Ji Rong โ Surrounded by a Table Full of Dishes!
This Christmas, my friends and I gathered for a festive meal at Ji Rong Peking Duckโa celebration worth remembering! ๐ฝ๏ธ๐ Reservations here are always tricky, but during the holidays it's even wilderโwe had to call 10 days in advance just to snag a spot! We booked a private room with a $400 minimum spend, which wasnโt an issue since we were a big group and already ordered two whole Peking ducks (which must be reserved ahead). ๐ฆโจ We went all out with the ordering: ๐ Steamed Sea Bass โ tender and fresh ๐ Lamb Dish โ not usually a lamb fan, but this one was delicious! ๐ Guo Bao Rou (Sweet & Sour Pork) โ a bit heavy on the ginger, but still tasty ๐ฅฆ Dry Pot Cauliflower โ a reliable, rice-friendly classic ๐ค Walnut Shrimp โ crispy, though the fried flavor was pretty bold ๐ฅฌ Soybean Sprouts in Superior Broth โ light and refreshing ๐ Golden Soup Beef โ mildly tangy with a hint of Sichuan pepper ๐ Stir-Fried Crab Mushrooms โ fragrant and loaded with cilantro ๐ Salted Egg Yolk Pumpkin โ a bit dry but wonderfully aromatic As soon as the dishes arrived, the table was completely coveredโa true feast for the eyes and stomach! ๐ฅขโค๏ธ The gathering vibe was warm and joyfulโlots of chatting, slow eating, and best of all, no cleanup afterward! The only downside was that the private room wasnโt fully enclosed, so it got pretty loud between ordering and conversations. ๐ฃ๏ธ๐ But hey, holidays are about being together, sharing laughs, and enjoying good foodโand this meal definitely checked all those boxes. A perfect Christmas memory! ๐๐ ๐ Ji Rong Peking Duck 8450 E Valley Blvd, Rosemead, CA 91770 #LAEats #PekingDuck #ChristmasDinner #ChineseFood #HolidayFeast #LAFoodie #GroupDining #FestiveVibes #FoodMemories #CelebrationTime
