🎄 Christmas Feast at Ji Rong – Surrounded by a Table Full of Dishes!

This Christmas, my friends and I gathered for a festive meal at Ji Rong Peking Duck—a celebration worth remembering! 🍽️🎅 Reservations here are always tricky, but during the holidays it's even wilder—we had to call 10 days in advance just to snag a spot! We booked a private room with a $400 minimum spend, which wasn’t an issue since we were a big group and already ordered two whole Peking ducks (which must be reserved ahead). 🦆✨ We went all out with the ordering: 🐟 Steamed Sea Bass – tender and fresh 🐑 Lamb Dish – not usually a lamb fan, but this one was delicious! 🐖 Guo Bao Rou (Sweet & Sour Pork) – a bit heavy on the ginger, but still tasty 🥦 Dry Pot Cauliflower – a reliable, rice-friendly classic 🍤 Walnut Shrimp – crispy, though the fried flavor was pretty bold 🥬 Soybean Sprouts in Superior Broth – light and refreshing 🐂 Golden Soup Beef – mildly tangy with a hint of Sichuan pepper 🍄 Stir-Fried Crab Mushrooms – fragrant and loaded with cilantro 🎃 Salted Egg Yolk Pumpkin – a bit dry but wonderfully aromatic As soon as the dishes arrived, the table was completely covered—a true feast for the eyes and stomach! 🥢❤️ The gathering vibe was warm and joyful—lots of chatting, slow eating, and best of all, no cleanup afterward! The only downside was that the private room wasn’t fully enclosed, so it got pretty loud between ordering and conversations. 🗣️😅 But hey, holidays are about being together, sharing laughs, and enjoying good food—and this meal definitely checked all those boxes.
