Cincinnati & Louisville Road Trip Eats | 8 Must-Try Spots! ππ½οΈ
Final chapter of our Midwest road trip food guide! Here are 7 delicious stops we made in Cincinnati and Louisville: π Louisville 1οΈβ£ The Goose Eatery | π½οΈ Prime Brown π The Hot Brown sandwich is a Louisville classic! Soaky toast loaded with stretchy cheese, topped with savory steak and crispy bacon. So indulgent! π 2οΈβ£ The Eagle | π 1/4 Fried Chicken π A popular local chain with high ratings! Kentucky-style fried chicken features a thin, crispy crust and super juicy meat. Also, their cast-iron cornbread is a must-try! π 3οΈβ£ Wiltshire Bakery | π₯ Almond Croissant & PB Poptart π Stopped by this old-school bakery before heading to Nashville. The croissant was just okay (not very flaky), but the Poptart was delicious! π Cincinnati 4οΈβ£ Camp Washington | π 513-way Chili π Cincinnati chili is totally different from Mexican chili! Shared a beef cheese sandwich and the high-protein 513-way chili with two friends. The spiced meat in the chili was unique and tasty! πΆοΈ 5οΈβ£ Graeterβs | π¨ Buckeye Blitz & Lemon Sorbet π Afternoon sweets at a classic ice cream shop! Tried the chocolate chip and lemon sorbet β the sorbetβs texture was a bit unusual, though. 6οΈβ£ Hofbrauhaus | π Pork Knuckle π A German beer hall chain, but this one is SO popular even the house dog has a fan page! π The pork knuckle was incredibly tender β fell right off the bone. Loved that you can swap side dishes! 7οΈβ£ 272 Bakery | π₯ Plain Croissant & Morning Bun πͺ Apple Butter Shortbread π A bit off the beaten path, but easy parking! Only three tables inside but didnβt have to wait long. The croissants were well-layered and huge β one was enough for two meals! Highly recommend the apple butter shortbread. π 8οΈβ£ Deeper Roots Coffee | βοΈ Drip Coffee π A cozy cafΓ© next to a farmers market. Great beans and plenty of natural light inside! βοΈ #MidwestRoadTrip #Cincinnati #CincinnatiEats
