On May 20th, we visited this super affordable Italian restaurant šŸ“šŸ‡®šŸ‡¹ We ordered two pastas + bread + shrimp — only around $30 per person! We came mainly for the pasta šŸ! It’s located right in downtown Cincinnati. This place insists on traditional handmade pasta, and the sauces are incredibly rich and fresh. The vibe inside is super warm, and they also offer outdoor seating. According to the founder’s story, the inspiration came from his grandfather’s family dinners, so they want every guest to feel at home. They also have an Instagram account with lots of food pics and content.ā¤ļø 1ļøāƒ£ Spicy Vodka It’s made with tiny mezze pasta — chewy and bite-sized. Don’t think it’s undercooked! It has a mild spicy kick. I even asked for extra chili flakes and more cheese! Although there’s no meat, the flavor is so good you’ll want to lick the plate clean. Don’t be fooled by the portion—it’s surprisingly filling. Vodka sauce is my absolute favorite. It’s perfect for the Chinese palate! If you like spice and don’t know what to order, just go for this one.šŸ˜‚ 2ļøāƒ£ The Sunday Sauce Classic long spaghetti with rich tomato and meat sauce. The tomato flavor is well-balanced—not too sour, not too sweet, and not overpowered by basil. Just a sprinkle of parsley. Comes with two kinds of meat: pork meatball and pork shoulder. Perfect if you want both pasta and meat. The shoulder is braised until tender and full of flavor.šŸŽ¶ 3ļøāƒ£ Grilled Shrimp The shrimp are huge and super fresh. Topped with a Mexican green salsa verde made with tomatillo, jalapeƱo, onion, lime, and cilantro. The taste is refreshing and zesty. My first time trying this flavor—loved it!🤣 4ļøāƒ£ The Dunk We randomly picked this pre-meal bread. It’s served oddly—not with butter, but with olive oil, vinegar, and herbs. The oil taste was too strong for me—not really my thing. The bread itself is okay, kinda crusty and dry.
